I have been a professional Naturalist in south Florida for more than 23 years. I was responsible for managing and restoring Fern Forest, Secret Woods and Arch Creek Park. My birdwatching business, Birding Adventures has taken birders throughout south Florida for more than 7 years to the Everglades, Corkscrew, Big Cypress, and the Keys. Weekends trips to Merrit Island and Ft. DeSoto are a highlight with 110 plus species each year. An exciting new feature is the highly successful trips to Costa Rica with 336 species in 7 days, Panama-Canopy Tower with 263 species in 5 and half days and the Eastern Shore of Virginia with 126 species including Kirtland's Warbler. I also believe it is very important to build knowledge through classes. I will be teaching Beginning and Advanced Birding skills which is a multi-media presentation with numerous handouts through the Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale. My new website can be found at www.birdadventure.com with alot more information and slide shows of the trips and soon more about me at www.birdpaddy.com
